A Healthy Heart: No recorded heart attacks before 1897: I've been trying to avoid going into details at this point to avoid duplication, but with this subject I'll have to give some detail even if it is repeated elsewhere in the site.

Heart attacks were invented for profit

The first recorded heart attack was in 1897. Until then unsaturated vegetable oils were used in paints and varnishes because they dry hard when exposed to oxygen (they still do inside your heart arteries). Then synthetic oils and varnishes were invented.

The oils made pigs put on weight explosively but too many died of cancer and heart attacks before they could be slaughtered, so oils were sold as a food for humans, starting the epidemic of obesity and heart attacks.

This was great for the oil manufacturers, but people didn't trust them, so they advertised that oils and margarine are more healthy eating than saturated fat.

The Cholesterol Myth

People started to wonder, but they preferred the flavor of butter, so the oil makers bribed a research worker to invent the cholesterol myth, which would make people switch to margarine as being better for a healthy heart. The man owned up some years later, but it was too late to stop the scam.

The Heart Attack Industry

Profits made by the unsaturated oil manufacturers have been completely beaten by profits in the heart attack industry. Your doctor will look at your normal blood pressure and tell you it is too high (the too high level keeps getting lowered) and sells you drugs. He looks at your cholesterol level, tells you it is too high, sells you drugs to lower your cholesterol, which lowers your intelligence without lessening the risk of heart attacks, then when you have a heart attack a whole team of heart industry professionals swings into action to lighten your pocket-book.

Research showed that saturated fat was heart-healthy and encouraged a healthy weight and unsaturated oils are bad for your heart and health in general. Coconut oil has a special place among the saturated fats for a healthy lifestyle. As a short-chain fat it is digested differently from long-chain fats, being used as a source of energy, and actually burning some of the fat you have laid down already.

Positive Ways to Healthy Heart

Here are foods for a healthy heart. Saturated fats. Broccoli, Brussel Sprouts, Buckwheat, Carrots, Cauliflower, Celery, Cherries, Chili, Cranberries, Currants... Oh you've caught me out. I'm just going through the alphabet. Most healthy fruit and vegetables are good for your heart and should be included in your diet.
